Summer has arrived at The Ring O’ Bells, and we’re looking forward to what promises to be a fantastic few months here in Christleton.
Longer days, warmer evenings, great food, live entertainment, community events and world-class sport are all on the menu this summer. Whether you’re joining us for a family meal, catching up with friends over a drink in the garden, or attending one of our special events, there’s plenty happening at your local pub.
World Cup Fever Arrives This Summer
From June onwards, we’ll be showing all the major FIFA World Cup matches live at The Ring O’ Bells; going big on all the England games.
There’s nothing quite like watching the big games surrounded by fellow fans, with a cold drink in hand and great food available throughout. Keep an eye on our social media channels for fixture information and any special match-day offers as the tournament progresses.
Live Music Every Friday Night
Friday nights are all about great music, great company and the perfect start to the weekend.
Throughout the summer we’ll be hosting live music every Friday, bringing some fantastic local talent to The Ring O’ Bells. Whether you’re dining with us or simply enjoying a drink in the garden, our live music evenings are the perfect way to unwind after a busy week. And don’t forget our burgers are 2 for 1 every Friday as well.
Supporting Great Causes Through Our Quiz Nights
Our quiz nights continue to be one of the most popular events on our calendar, and this summer we’re proud to be supporting some wonderful causes.
Thursday 16th July – Brain Tumour Research Charity Quiz
Gather your smartest friends, form a team and join us for an evening of fun while helping raise money for an incredibly important cause. This one is particularly close to our hearts, so please all rally round, fill the pub & raise some much needed funds.
Thursday 24th September – Christleton Primary School PTA Quiz
Later in the year we’ll be supporting Christleton Primary School PTA with another community-focused quiz night. We hope you’ll join us to support local education while enjoying a friendly evening of competition.
Blue Willow Birds Paint & Sip Workshop
We’re excited to welcome a special Paint & Sip event to The Ring O’ Bells on Friday 8th August from 7pm to 9pm.
This elegant evening of creativity combines watercolours, metallic paints and gold leaf techniques to create a beautiful Blue Willow Birds artwork. It’s the perfect opportunity to spend an evening with friends, learn something new and enjoy a little sparkle along the way.
Your ticket includes all materials, expert tuition and a glass of fizz on arrival. An early bird price of £29 is available until 8th July, after which tickets will be £34. Places are expected to fill quickly, so booking early is highly recommended.
Autumn Winter Wine Tasting Returns Later This Year
Many of our guests have been asking when our next wine tasting evening will take place.
We’re currently planning more fantastic wine tasting events for the autumn & winter months and will be announcing details soon. If you’ve attended one of our previous wine evenings, you’ll know they always prove popular and tend to sell out quickly.
