As we step into a new year, we want to start by saying a huge thank you to everyone who
supported us over the Christmas period. It really was a great few weeks, and we couldn’t
have done it without you. From festive drinks and family meals to catching up with friends;
your support means everything to us.
January and February can be challenging months for many, especially with the continued
cost of living pressures. We’ve always believed the pub should be a place where people can
still enjoy good food, good drink, and good company without breaking the bank, so we’re
sticking with — and adding to — some great value offers to help a little where we can.
Our Wednesday 2-for-1 Pizza Night remains as popular as ever, and our Friday 2-for-1
Burgers are still the perfect way to ease into the weekend. We’re also introducing a new
Tuesday “Steak Frites” night, giving you another excuse to pop in midweek for something
comforting and delicious at a reasonable price.
Alongside the food and drink, we’ve got plenty happening on the events front. Our first quiz
of the year takes place on Thursday 5th February, and this one will be raising funds for St
James’ Church — a fun night out while supporting a great local cause. On Thursday 12th
February, we’re hosting an adult Paint & Sip evening, a relaxed and creative night with
drinks, laughter, and a canvas to take home. Rounding off the month, our first Movie Club of
the Year lands on Saturday 28th February, offering a cosy night in the pub with a shared

Rugby fans won’t be left out either. The Six Nations kicks off in February, and we’ll be
showing all the games live on our brand new big screen in The Village Bar, so you won’t
miss a minute of the action.
Behind the scenes, things are moving too. We’ve got decorators in at the moment giving the
pub a fresh lick of paint, with plenty more improvements planned to make the Ring O’ Bells
even more welcoming. There’s lots in the pipeline, both inside and out, as we look ahead to
lighter evenings, the return of live music, and the launch of our new menu.So, while the nights are still dark and winter lingers on, there’s plenty to look forward to at the Ring O’ Bells. We hope to see you soon – whether it’s for a midweek deal, an event night, or just a quiet pint.
