A Summer to Remember ☀️
The weather has been almost un-British (in the best possible way!) — long sunny days,
warm evenings, and a buzzing pub atmosphere. A huge thank you to everyone who has
joined us over the summer — you’ve made it so special.
As the evenings grow a little shorter and the first hints of autumn creep in, we’ve been
reflecting on what a summer it’s been here at the Ring O’ Bells in Christleton. From glorious
sunshine to a buzzing pub garden and some truly memorable nights, this has been a season
to remember.
Friday Nights Have Been Electric 🎶
One of the highlights has undoubtedly been our Friday Live Music Nights. Week after week,
our “stage” has been filled with talented artists and the pub filled with the sound of great
music, laughter, and clinking glasses. The atmosphere has been electric, and we’re so
grateful to everyone who came down to support both the performers and the pub.
If you’re looking for live music near Chester, the good news is we’re not ready to stop just
yet. The music continues every Friday throughout September — so if you’ve not joined us
yet, now’s the perfect time.
Looking Ahead to Christmas 🎄
It might feel early, but Christmas at the Ring O’ Bells is just around the corner. Our festive
menus will be launching very soon, and December bookings are already starting to roll in.
Whether you’re planning an office party, a family celebration, or a festive catch-up with
friends, make sure you book early.
Wine Tastings That Sell Out 🍷
This summer also saw another one of our much-loved wine tasting evenings – this time the
theme was Spain— and once again, it was completely sold out. These events are a real
favourite; combining fantastic wines, great company, and plenty of fun.
If you missed out this time, don’t worry — we’ll be announcing details of the next wine
tasting very soon.
Quiz Night Returns 📝
For those who prefer a bit of brain-teasing fun, our ever-popular Charity Pub Quiz is back
on Thursday 18th September. It’s always a lively evening with plenty of laughs, some
friendly competition, and money raised for a good cause. Gather your team and book in
soon to avoid disappointment. The charity we are raising funds for this time is CoppaFeel,
for breast cancer awareness.
Much Needed Maintenance 🛠
Like every good pub, the Ring O’ Bells needs a little TLC and maintenance from time to time
to keep everything looking its best. Over the next few weeks, we’ll been giving the place
some much-needed care & attention— the kind of jobs that often go unnoticed but make all
the difference to your experience. From fresh paintwork and tidy gardens to repairs and
improvements around the building, it’s all part of making sure the pub stays fresh,
welcoming, and in top shape for the months ahead.
What Never Changes 🍻
Of course, beyond the special events, the heart of the Ring O’ Bells remains the same: a
warm welcome, delicious food, a well-stocked bar, and the kind of atmosphere that makes
our pub such a special place in the village.
So, while we say goodbye to a brilliant summer, we’re stepping into autumn with plenty to
look forward to. Whether it’s live music Fridays, our charity quiz, or the first hints of festive
cheer, we can’t wait to see you soon at the Ringers.
